Intermediate Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intermediate Systems Engineer Contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Support cloud technologies primarily hosted in Azure and assist with Azure Cloud configuration
• Participate in on-call rotation for the organization's infrastructure team and restore backups
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using GitLab and address issues identified by the Information Security team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong understanding of security technologies and best practices
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, technical support, or a related role
• Experience with Azure, backup technologies (Veeam preferred), and IaC tools (OpenTofu/Terraform, GitLab)
• Familiarity with Windows environments, virtualization technologies, and Azure Virtual Desktop
