Interoperability Solutions Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Interoperability Solutions Architect to manage clinical data connectivity and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical data connectivity, ingestion, mapping, and transformation
• Act as a subject matter expert for HL7-based interface and application development
• Facilitate discussions with healthcare data partners regarding connectivity options and ensure accurate data capture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Health Science or Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience with healthcare interoperability protocols, including FHIR resources and IHE profiles
• Strong understanding of HL7 messaging, CDA-based formats, web services, and identity management
• Knowledge of health IT interoperability best practices and emerging trends
• Experience with InterSystems IRIS and in the payer industry is preferred
