Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PRN or PT).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and assessments virtually, prescribing and managing psychiatric medications
• Conduct one new patient evaluation every hour and follow-up/med checks in 30-minute increments
• Ensure adherence to state and federal laws surrounding mental health treatment and maintain appropriate documentation

Required Qualifications

• Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) board certification
• Licensed in Iowa with a valid DEA number
• 1 year of psychiatric experience preferred
• No pending or past sanctions by federally funded healthcare programs
• Ability to function autonomously and coordinate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
