ISTQB Certified Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Test Automation Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for VA corporate IT systems
• Implement test automation frameworks and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with development teams to define test strategies and ensure requirement coverage

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
• International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Agile Tester Certification required
• 2-5 years of experience in test automation or software quality assurance, preferably in federal or VA environments
• Proven expertise in automated testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or Cucumber
• Familiarity with VA security standards and the VIP Lean-Agile framework is desirable
