IT Network/Telecom Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Network/Telecom Product Specialist for a remote contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct device validation, alarm configuration, and testing to ensure seamless integration with the Spectrum system
• Collaborate with Transport and Spectrum teams to validate alarms and ensure non-service-affecting reporting
• Troubleshoot network issues and perform basic IP networking tests

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT Network and Telecom Monitoring in large enterprises
• 5+ years of experience with Network Fault and Performance Management tools
• Experience with enterprise network monitoring systems, preferably Spectrum
• Familiarity with SNMP traps, alarms, and configuration/reporting
• Experience working with large telecom companies and their infrastructure
