IT Performance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Performance Engineer to provide full-stack performance engineering support for critical infrastructure, services, or applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and dependencies/interfaces with other applications and services
• Develop performance requirements and appropriate tests to validate adherence to documented requirements
• Analyze performance implications of proposed architectures and suggest optimizations within budget and technical constraints

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in application performance engineering, including monitoring, testing, and debugging
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting complex networks and networking devices
• 3 years of experience writing and debugging scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and PowerShell
• Experience with performance analysis tools like ExtraHop, LoadRunner, and Splunk
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working as part of an Agile team
