Lead Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Accountant to oversee a team of accounting professionals and manage financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly and fiscal year-end accounting close activities to ensure compliance with GAAP
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities to ensure compliance

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience
• Previous experience leading and managing teams
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial controls
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications
