Lead API Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead API Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Build performant API endpoints
• Maintain backward compatibility with existing clients
• Contribute to the technical direction of the API and mentor other developers

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a professional software engineer, with at least 3 years focused on Backend/API services
• Experience in deploying and architecting back end applications using Node.js or similar technologies
• Proficient in Typescript or JavaScript with knowledge of typed languages
• Experience with Relational Databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a similar technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
