Lead Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Data Engineer who will lead data architecture and engineering strategy, focusing on innovation and exceptional solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of data engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous learning
• Define and build a new data architecture while evaluating and challenging the current architecture
• Design, implement, and automate data pipelines and data warehouses using platforms such as Snowflake and AWS

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, including 4 years in a lead role
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Data Engineering or Computer Science
• Expert knowledge in data engineering and architecture, particularly with Snowflake
• Strong experience with data infrastructure technologies like Airflow, Fivetran, and Kafka
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data modeling techniques, along with experience in AWS cloud platform
