Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead Power Systems Engineer 2.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed electrical analysis utilizing time domain techniques to evaluate system performance and identify potential issues
- Perform complex calculations related to Transient Over-Voltage (TOV), Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV), Switching Studies, and Insulation Coordination
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize system performance and mitigate risks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power/Power Systems) with sufficient industry experience, or a Master's/PhD preferred
- 12 or more years of experience in time domain analysis of power systems
- Proficiency in software tools such as PSCAD or EMTP-RV for complex electrical calculations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
