Lead Release Management Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Release Management Engineer to manage the end-to-end release process and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a release schedule for the product suite, coordinating with stakeholders to define scope and track readiness
• Manage the end-to-end release process, including planning, development, testing, and deployment, while conducting release readiness reviews
• Oversee quality assurance to meet standards, ensure testing and defect management processes are followed, and collaborate with QA teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of experience
• Expertise in using Atlassian tools (Jira, JQL) for project tracking and agile project management
• Understanding of Agile values and principles
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure)
• Experience with Git/GitHub for version control and code collaboration
