Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to help scale their platform and mentor a growing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own architecture and development for high-impact parts of the platform including APIs and internal tools
• Lead feature delivery from start to finish, including scoping, implementation, review, and deployment
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to shaping the technical roadmap and engineering culture

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior role
• Strong skills in backend systems (e.g., Python, Node.js) and API design
• Experience building and scaling production-grade web applications or platforms
• Exposure to applied AI/ML in product environments
• Comfort with fast-paced, agile, and startup-style environments
