Lead Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Systems Engineer (Spacecraft Bus Lead).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the design, development, and integration of the spacecraft bus
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure compliance with technical specifications and schedules
• Oversee integration and testing of the spacecraft bus, including environmental and functional testing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 7 years of experience, or 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• Experience working with spacecraft bus suppliers
• In-depth knowledge of spacecraft bus systems including power, thermal, and avionics
• Experience executing all phases of a spacecraft bus program and major design reviews
• Experience with hardware/software integration and testing
