Senior Lead Planning Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Lead Planner.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the installation and lifecycle management of IP routers and switches across multiple Tier 1 networks
• Collaborate with technical teams on operational and architectural aspects of the IP network
• Analyze and design complex network systems, ensuring performance and scalability

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of routing and switching technologies: OSPF, ISIS, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, and static routing
• Proven experience managing design, capacity, and redundancy in large-scale IP networks
• Familiarity with network security protocols including VPNs, DDoS protection, and firewall configurations
• Some experience with scripting and network automation
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, typically requiring 10+ years of relevant experience
