Linux Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Linux Engineer - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers in enterprise environments
• Serve as a senior escalation point for client incidents, ensuring timely resolution and communication
• Implement and enforce security best practices and support incident management processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 9+ years of hands-on experience in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian)
• In-depth knowledge of Linux systems installation and configuration
• Strong expertise in Security Enhanced Linux, VMWare, Red Hat Satellite Server, and Ansible
• Certifications such as RHCE or relevant cloud/Linux certifications are preferred
