Mainframe Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and implementation of software for enterprise loan applications
• Write reliable, testable, maintainable, and performant code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and stable software solutions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years' mainframe development experience in design, analysis, and coding
• Strong experience with CICS, JCL, MVS, VSAM, and mainframe change management tools
• Proven ability to define and solve complex business problems
• Experience with SQL and relational databases is a plus
• Familiarity with the Agile framework preferred
