Mainframe Storage Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Storage Systems Programmer to manage and optimize enterprise-level mainframe storage systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide weekend on-call support as part of the support rotation for 24/7 availability
• Manage and maintain IBM DS8950F storage arrays and configure GDPS environments
• Implement and manage data protection strategies and perform capacity planning

Required Qualifications

• Combined minimum of 9 years' higher education and/or related work experience
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM DS8950F and GDPS technologies
• Proficiency in CA mainframe tools and tape/disk management
• Experience with Pervasive Encryption and data protection strategies
• 7+ years of experience in mainframe storage administration preferred
