Job Summary

A company is looking for a Managed Care Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary benefits and authorizations
• Provide financial counseling to patients and calculate co-insurance amounts
• Act as a resource for staff regarding insurance coverage and treatment approvals

Required Qualifications

• One year of experience in a medical office setting with direct patient contact
• Thorough knowledge of PAS policies and procedures
• Advanced user skills in PAS and knowledge of integrated care
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in a high-volume public contact position is beneficial
