Key Responsibilities

• Process and submit medical billing claims to insurance companies and patients
• Utilize coding systems such as ICD-10 and DRG for accurate claim submission
• Follow up on unpaid claims and manage medical collections effectively

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience in medical billing and coding, preferably in a medical office setting
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, DRG, ICD-10, and medical records management
• Familiarity with various billing systems and software applications used in healthcare
• Certification in medical billing or coding is a plus but not required
