Key Responsibilities
- Follow up and resolve unpaid patient balances through high-volume patient calls
- Analyze self-pay balances, establish payment plans, and process patient payments
- Handle billing inquiries and ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of CPT/ICD 10 coding
- Understanding of explanation of benefits and reimbursement payment practices
- Minimum of 3 years of prior medical billing experience or equivalent
