Mid Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mid Network Engineer to develop and support network systems for the Department of Defense.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement network architecture to enhance security, reliability, and availability of mission-critical systems
• Support the integration of encryption gear and manage routing and switching configurations
• Serve as a trusted advisor on network operations and modernization projects

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with DoD classified and unclassified networks, including routers and switches
• Knowledge of various network transport mediums and security devices
• Ability to configure IP address space and maintain network architecture documentation
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of software engineering experience or 5+ years in lieu of a degree
