Missouri Licensed Medical Policy Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Policy Clinical Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct structured research of peer-reviewed literature to support medical policy
• Maintain and update existing medical policies and guidelines based on external vendor information
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement medical policy changes and respond to inquiries regarding medical policy

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Licensed RN in Missouri and/or Kansas
• 3 years of clinical experience
• Experience in reading and understanding clinical literature
• Certified Coder with AHIMA or AAPC, or willing to obtain within 6 months of employment
