Mortgage Collections Agent

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Servicing Collections Agent to manage early-stage delinquent loans and assist customers with repayment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls related to mortgage payment collections and delinquency resolution
• Manage loans within the early delinquency range and ensure timely follow-up and action
• Research and resolve customer inquiries and complaints with a focus on first-call resolution

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree or additional education a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage servicing or a collections call center
• Knowledge of general mortgage banking practices preferred
• Proven ability to meet performance metrics consistently
• Strong organizational skills and a strong work ethic, including reliability with schedules and deadlines
