Hardware Support Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Hardware Support Engineer - Field Device Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot a fleet of security cameras and related devices
• Manage installations of embedded systems and configure device networking
• Support new location installations and validate device functionality post-installation

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in POSIX/Linux systems administration
• Experience with firmware management for embedded devices or IoT hardware
• Network troubleshooting skills, including TCP/IP and firewall configuration
• Proficiency in command-line and bash/shell scripting for automation
• Knowledge of POS integration and transaction data handling
