Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate mortgage loan applications for compliance with policies and regulations
• Analyze financial status, credit reports, and property evaluations to assess loan feasibility
• Collaborate with loan officers and processors to expedite the underwriting process

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in residential mortgage underwriting
• Proficiency in Encompass software is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of VA & FHA loan underwriting requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Experience with Non-QM and Jumbo loan underwriting is required
