HCC Coding Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Team Lead, HCC Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Review pending accounts and client reports for coding opportunities and resolve QA disputes
• Assist in coding, auditing, and training of coders, ensuring compliance with coding standards
• Accurately apply diagnosis and procedure codes while maintaining adherence to ethical coding practices

Required Qualifications

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of coding experience is required
• Must have reliable internet access and current coding materials
• Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• Associate degree or higher in a healthcare-related field is preferred
