Certified Anesthesia Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder III - Anesthesia position, which involves performing complex coding for Anesthesiology, Pain Management, and Critical Care procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth CPT, HCPC, and ICD10 coding of inpatient and outpatient clinical charge documents
• Accurately interpret physician notes and convert them into appropriate coding to capture billable services
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
• Three (3) years of relevant coding experience, specifically in Anesthesia coding
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ASA, ICD-10, and HCPC coding applications
