Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and execution of the national press strategy and manage the press team
- Collaborate with various teams to create media strategies that align with organizational priorities and act as a spokesperson
- Lead crisis communications, participate in strategic planning, and manage the Press Team's budget and operations
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in press and public relations, preferably in an in-house or congressional office setting
- Proven experience in writing, pitching, and placing op-eds in major publications
- Established relationships with national reporters and a track record of earning national coverage
- Experience working with grassroots leaders or volunteers in political or activism environments
- Political fluency and an understanding of campaign politics
