Network Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Engineer III who will design, implement, and maintain the enterprise network across various locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of LAN, WAN, and traffic engineering for offices and datacenters
• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures
• Lead projects related to network upgrades and integrations, while mentoring junior team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, networking, or a related field with 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer; or 9+ years in a network support function with 5 years as a network engineer
• 5+ years of experience in managing IT infrastructure and systems, including cloud architectures and communication technologies
• Certifications such as CCNP Routing and Switching or Datacenter, and ITIL certification are preferred
• In-depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and Cisco Catalyst/Nexus platforms
• Experience with network security, wireless networking technologies, and network automation tools
