Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Network Security Engineer (Firewall) in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and audit firewall rules, including configuration and cleanup processes
• Document and validate firewall rules with asset owners and customer team members
• Utilize firewall management tools for discovery and maintenance of rules

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 5+ years of Network Security experience, preferably in an enterprise environment
• Current CCNA Security, CCNP Security, or CCIE certification
• Expert-level experience with Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewall configuration
• Experience with firewall rule cleanup and audit on large deployments (50+ firewalls)
• User experience with Splunk for auditing firewall logs
