Job Summary

A company is looking for a Health Plan Medical Director (MD/DO).

Key Responsibilities

• Support development and revisions to Medical Policies
• Provide clinical leadership and promote best practices across the organization
• Manage relationships with providers and support population health efforts

Required Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. with board certification
• Five years of clinical practice experience in pediatric and adult medicine after residency
• Current New Mexico medical license to practice without restriction
• Experience in a managed care setting preferred
• Understanding of managed care environment and familiarity with NCQA and HEDIS principles desirable
