New York Licensed Clinical Abstractor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Abstractor to support the Infant Mortality Action Team (IMAT) project.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete training and orientation related to data abstraction processes and systems
• Conduct clinical data abstraction from OCME forms and enter data into the in-house MS Access database
• Prepare case summaries and provide regular progress updates to staff, attending IMAT meetings as needed

Required Qualifications

• Experience handling highly sensitive personal health information with strict confidentiality protocols
• Active clinical license (RN, LPN, MD, DO, NP) in a relevant clinical area
• At least 3 years of experience in outpatient pediatrics or similar care settings
• Submission of a copy of current medical license is required
• Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check
