NOC Technician II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a NOC Technician II (Network Operations Center).

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and document network infrastructure, escalating issues as necessary
• Provide second level technical support and mentor Tier 1 NOC Technicians
• Deliver afterhours customer support and ensure adherence to documentation standards

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in a related field or equivalent training and experience
• Telecom Network Operations Center experience required
• Knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including DWDM, Ethernet, and MPLS
• CCNA, CCNP, JNCIP, or JNCIA SCTE, NCTI Certifications preferred
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and nights
