North Carolina Design System Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Design System Designer III.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance the enterprise design system by creating and iterating on high-fidelity UI components and documentation
• Conduct user research and testing to ensure the effectiveness of design system deliverables
• Collaborate with design, development, and project teams to improve the design system and user experiences

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in User Experience (UX) or High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of experience in UX
• Digital/UI design skills, including web design and experience with tools like Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Experience with design patterns and visual design systems
• Understanding of modern front-end development practices, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG AA) and responsive web design
