Job Summary

A company is looking for an Online American Sign Language (ASL) + Humanities/Writing/Math Tutor.

Key Responsibilities

• Tutor students in American Sign Language, Humanities, Writing, and Math using the Socratic method
• Conduct online tutoring sessions via a virtual classroom platform, utilizing video, audio, and chatbox features
• Manage tutoring availability based on student demand, primarily during evenings from Sunday to Thursday

Required Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in American Sign Language through education or professional experience
• Access to reliable high-speed Internet and a quiet environment for conducting tutorials
• Minimum availability of 2-5 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters
• Preferred background in teaching methodology or experience tutoring at the college level
• Excellent academic performance in undergraduate or graduate studies
