Job Summary
A company is looking for an Operating System Specialist with a focus on server and application support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day incident and deployment support for server operating systems and middle tier applications
- Manage incident response via the USPS ServiceNow application and perform technical leadership in various environments
- Develop and implement procedures for proactive problem detection, disaster recovery, and maintain project plans
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or commensurate experience
- Specialization in Unix/Linux or Windows server administration
- Experience with middle tier technologies and automation tools
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident to obtain USPS Public Trust clearance
