Operating Systems Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Operating System Specialist with a focus on server and application support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day incident and deployment support for server operating systems and middle tier applications
• Manage incident response via the USPS ServiceNow application and perform technical leadership in various environments
• Develop and implement procedures for proactive problem detection, disaster recovery, and maintain project plans

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience or commensurate experience
• Specialization in Unix/Linux or Windows server administration
• Experience with middle tier technologies and automation tools
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident to obtain USPS Public Trust clearance
