Operations Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Operations Engineer II to manage and perform proactive maintenance on network elements for voice, video, and data networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute proactive maintenance tasks on network elements
• Develop and implement plans for capacity augmentation as necessary
• Perform engineering and applied research to design and evaluate new projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• Relevant telecommunications experience, particularly with HSI, data, and IPTV network elements
• Strong project management skills
• Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues
• Solid understanding of Ethernet switches, routers, and their connectivity
