Principal DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal DevOps Engineer to provide technical leadership and drive the strategic direction of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and promote infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps best practices across projects and teams
• Architect and optimize reusable Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible
• Lead the design and deployment of Kubernetes clusters and oversee CI/CD workflows

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Software Development, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Expert-level proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes
• Extensive experience with production-grade Kubernetes deployments and CI/CD pipelines
• Mastery of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle Cloud)
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system monitoring at scale
