Senior Estimator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Commercial Building Materials Estimator to estimate loose material orders for complex commercial and multi-family projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize designs for accurate costing and review takeoffs for accuracy
• Prepare detailed construction proposals from customer blueprints and assist sales with information presentation
• Train and develop other estimators as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of wood construction loose materials estimating experience
• At least 1 year of commercial siding experience
• Experience with Planswift or similar estimating software
• High school diploma required; preferred bachelor's degree in a related discipline
• Ability to learn new computer programs quickly and type at a minimum of 50 WPM
