Optimiza is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to join our innovative QA team. In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the highest levels of software quality and reliability. Your expertise in automation will be vital in streamlining testing processes and enhancing overall product performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Lead the creation of automated testing strategies, ensuring comprehensive test coverage for all applications.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to gather requirements and define clear automation goals.
  • Execute automated tests, analyze results, and lead defect investigation and resolution efforts.
  • Continuously improve test processes by leveraging best practices in automation and quality assurance.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members on automation tools and techniques.
  • Monitor application performance tests and develop measures to improve performance and response times.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software automation testing.
  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation testing.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  • Extensive experience with automation testing tools like Katalon, Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated testing processes.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Proficient in performance testing skills using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB or Certified Selenium Tester, are an advantage.
