Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with payers to ensure timely resolution of outstanding claims
• Review and update patient and financial information accurately
• Monitor billings for accuracy and follow up on assigned accounts

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in Hospital/Facility billing required
• 2-3 years' experience in insurance collections
• Basic knowledge of healthcare claims processing including ICD-9/10 and CPT codes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
