Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payroll Tax Analyst to perform analytical, reporting, and taxation tasks to support the Payroll department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, processing, calculation, and reconciliation of bi-weekly, multi-state payroll
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and tax regulations by accurately reporting payroll data to relevant agencies
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns and act as a liaison with government agencies regarding payroll tax matters
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) is required
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required
- Experience with payroll tax reporting and compliance is essential
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations is necessary
- Ability to research laws and regulations regarding payroll taxes and withholding procedures
