A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative to manage and resolve patient accounts efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting third-party payors and patients
- Document account activities and maintain productivity goals while ensuring compliance with regulations
- Assist with special projects and escalate payment delays or issues to management as necessary
Required Qualifications
- Solid understanding of the Revenue Cycle and patient account management
- Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance
- Ability to navigate various patient accounting applications and payer websites
- Experience in documenting account status and actions taken
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
