A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completes billing activities and claims according to regulations and guidelines
  • Reviews denial trends and insurance credit balances to resolve accounts
  • Processes electronic remittances and communicates with payers regarding account status
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • One year of experience in financial services or healthcare business office required
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred
  • Prior experience with healthcare computer systems, especially Epic billing, preferred
  • Ability to sit for long periods and perform occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
