Patient Accounts Specialist II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Specialist II - Physicians' Billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounts receivable follow-up and collection procedures for timely reimbursement from third-party carriers
• Assist in the creation and implementation of training materials for team development and coordinate daily work activities
• Investigate and resolve insurance claim rejections and maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Four years of experience in hospital/physician patient accounts or equivalent experience required
• Proficiency with automated billing systems, specifically GE IDX and ETM experience
• Knowledge of relevant billing and collection laws, hospital protocols, and third-party claims
• Ability to lead, monitor daily activities, and evaluate team performance
