Job Summary
A company is looking for a Physician and APP Contract Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and assimilate payer contract information to support contract implementation, operations, and customer service functions
- Develop and maintain contract summaries to support internal education and operational compliance with contract terms
- Assist in researching issues and recommend resolutions to escalated claim payment, reimbursement, and operations issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration
- 5+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum five (5) years of related experience and/or training
- Experience with commercial payers contracts, payment variance, policies, and contract methodologies
