Platform Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Platform/Infrastructure Architect to oversee and enhance a cloud-based data platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the end-to-end platform architecture for scalability, performance, and security
• Provide technical and architectural leadership on complex cross-domain initiatives
• Establish patterns and best practices adopted across teams for cloud and data services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10-12+ years of experience in IT architecture/engineering with a focus on cloud data platforms
• Experience with Snowflake and familiarity with Azure SQL and object storage services
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive architectural decisions
• Background in insurance, particularly life and annuity, is a plus
