Principal Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Accountant, VP Accounting to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial consolidation process and maintain consolidation systems
• Assist in expense forecasting and manage headcount and vendor forecasts
• Ensure accurate period-end compliance reporting and manage cash flow forecasts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, especially in consolidation and financial reporting
• Proven leadership experience
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
