Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the end-to-end data architecture and set standards for data schemas and models
• Design and build scalable data pipelines while ensuring data quality and governance
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and translate business goals into data products

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior role
• Proven experience in leading data architecture and platform initiatives
• Deep knowledge of cloud services (AWS) and modern data warehouses or lakehouses
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or Scala/Java)
• Experience with orchestration tools, data modeling, and security best practices
