Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer to build customer and backend pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, deploy, and maintain production data ingestion on top of the data platform
• Design and implement feature engineering and source of truth tables for finance and product usage metrics
• Collaborate with ML and engineering teams to support the training of large-scale models for production use

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience building production data pipelines with real user data at scale
• Deep expertise in SQL and Python
• Experience with modern data stacks such as BigQuery, dbt, or similar tools
• Track record of architectural thinking and making sustainable design decisions
• Experience with event-driven architectures and understanding of streaming vs. batch tradeoffs
